Honest, Detailed Descriptions
Every listing states the material, approximate era or artistic style, dimensions, weight where relevant, and condition. Where an item is a faithful reproduction, a vintage-style piece or a contemporary handicraft made in a traditional technique, we say so clearly. We never describe a reproduction as an original antique.
Handcrafted & One-of-a-Kind
Many of our pieces — Madhubani and Pattachitra paintings, Dhokra and Bastar metalwork, hand-carved wood and inlay — are made by skilled artisans using techniques passed down for generations. Slight variations in colour, finish and form are natural signs of genuine handwork and make each piece unique.
Provenance & Documentation
For collectible coins, stamps, vintage instruments and higher-value pieces, we provide the information available to us — period, origin and condition notes — and supply a descriptive card or certificate of our assessment where applicable. If you require additional documentation before purchase, please contact us and we will share what we can.
Ethical & Legal Sourcing
We deal only in items that are legal to sell and trade. We do not deal in protected antiquities, restricted materials or any object whose sale would breach Indian heritage, wildlife or export law. Materials such as bone are ethically sourced by-products and are described as such.
Condition & Care
Vintage and antique-style items may show age-consistent wear that adds to their character. Care instructions are included where relevant. If you have any question about an item’s condition before buying, just ask — we are happy to send extra photographs.
